As you know, we travel a lot. That means packing has gotten more efficient and pared down to only necessities. You might think that means only clothing, toiletries and electronics but in our house, that also means the keyboard and art supplies. Our kids create on a daily basis. Whether it’s drawing, painting, a hodge-podge of cutting and gluing or a medley of tunes there is always something going on, so we always have crayons, pencils, markers, glue, and scissors at the ready.
Yesterday, it was pouring here so we did a review on some famous paintings and I had the kids draw a few renditions of those paintings along with some free-creation time. Here’s some of what they came up with.
Our music lessons range from theory to playing instruments. We always bring the keyboard since M has her lessons each week via FaceTime and we usually bring along a crow sounder or small drum as well. This week M finished off Dinosaur Stomp.
